There are other ways to volunteer for Legal Aid!
We welcome other volunteers in three cohorts a year: Spring/Summer, Fall, and Winter. To ensure a good experience for volunteers we offer an orientation at the beginning of each cohort. To join Legal Aid as an in-house volunteer, we review resumes submitted by these deadlines for the various cohorts:
- March 1 for Spring/Summer (usually a May start date)
- July 1 for a Fall experience (usually a September start date)
- October 15 for a Winter experience (usually a January start date)

Legal Aid’s Social Work Department provides a variety of social services to help clients resolve critical issues in order to enhance the effectiveness of their legal representation.
