Summer is upon us and we have a busy calendar of legal advice clinics and events. We encourage you to circulate this information with your networks.

Legal Aid is Hiring
Legal Aid is hiring for several roles, including several positions in Development & Communications, Attorneys, and Intake Specialists! Please visit the careers page on our website for a full list of openings and details about how to apply.

Post-grad fellowship applicants wanted
Legal Aid seeks interested 3rd year law school students (graduating in 2024) or those finishing clerkships in 2024 for 2024-2026 post-graduate fellowship applications. Applicants with an interest in any area of civil law that helps low-income and vulnerable people are encouraged to apply. Learn more: Post-Grad Fellowships.

Jam for Justice 2023
Plans are underway for our annual summer fundraiser – Jam for Justice! Mark your calendars and plan to join us Wednesday, August 23 at The Beachland Ballroom & Tavern in Cleveland’s Waterloo Arts District! Jam for Justice is a great way to support Legal Aid’s work while enjoying musical acts headlined by local bench and bar leaders. Visit lasclev.org/2023Jam to learn more!

Student Loan Information – Virtual Drop-in Sessions
The federal student loan payment pause will be ending soon. To help providers facilitate borrowers’ return to repayment, Legal Aid will host virtual ‘drop-in’ sessions this summer to answer questions and provide information. Sessions will be held on the first Thursday of July, August, and September. Register today:
