We provided this update to community partners and public officials this week with updates on events and other newsworthy items.

If you are on-staff at a local organization or with a government agency, email us with a request to join the mailing list.  Include your name, title, organization and email in the note. You will begin receiving Legal Aid's bi-weekly updates upon receipt.

#FreeToDrive
Last week, May 24th – May 30th, The Legal Aid Society joined other civil legal services organizations across Ohio for a social media campaign called #FreeToDrive. The campaign was designed to raise awareness around the issues our clients face when their driver’s licenses are suspended. Check out our posts by following #FreeToDrive on social media, or by sharing our Facebook and Twitter posts. Additionally, we are circulating this survey to better understand the impact of driver license suspensions on Ohio residents. Please share this survey with those you serve!

Support Legal Aid and have a chance to win $6000+!
On May 10, Legal Aid turned 116. Since 1905, Legal Aid has worked to protect shelter, safety and economic security for people with low incomes. To celebrate, we’re hosting a special 50/50 raffle where participants can win cash or one of three gift cards to The Corner Alley, all while supporting our mission. Visit lasclev.org/116raffle to learn more.
