Susan spent 54 years as an advocate at Legal Aid – 2 years as a law student intern from Case Western Reserve University followed by 52 years as an attorney. She passed away in March of 2022, and her family encourages gifts in her memory to the Susan P. Stauffer Endowment at Legal Aid. This fund supports salaries of law students who work at Legal Aid - in roles such as interns and summer associates. Your gift will help future generations of attorneys consider a career in civil legal aid.
