Legal Aid’s Annual Event to be held on October 18

Cleveland, Ohio -- Legal Aid's Annual Dinner and Report to the Community will be held on October 18, 2011.   This year, the event features special guest: Congressman John Lewis.  

Congressman Lewis is the U.S. Representative for Georgia's 5th Congressional District (Atlanta) serving since 1987. He is a leader in the Civil Rights Movement and was chairman of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), playing a key role in the Freedom Rides and struggle to end segregation.

The cocktail hour will begin at 5:30pm in the Cleveland Renaissance Hotel on October 18.   Dinner will be served at 6:45pm.

This is a fundraiser for Legal Aid; all proceeds provide access to justice for low-income individuals in Northeast Ohio.
