Need Legal Aid Help? Get Started

Legal Aid and Oberlin College Partnership

Legal Aid’s mission is to secure justice, equity, and access to opportunity for and with people who have low incomes through passionate legal representation and advocacy for systemic change.

This mission centers on our vision for Northeast Ohio to be a place in which all people experience dignity and justice, free from poverty and oppression.

Oberlin students are invited to engage with Legal Aid at monthly brief legal advice clinics at Oberlin Community Services.  To see a list of upcoming clinics, click here for the full calendar.

If you are an Oberlin student and wish to volunteer at a clinic, fill out the below form and a member of Legal Aid's staff will contact you and offer you possible dates/times based on availability!  If you are an Oberlin undergraduate, click "other" for the opportunities question.  For assignment/interest question, note "Lorain County" to indicate interest in the OCS clinics.  Finally, note in the comments of your form that you are an Oberlin student and wish to engage at a future clinic (and no need to add a resume).
