Vocalist Luke Lindberg and guitarist Ryan Kennedy started playing and songwriting together when they met in law school in 2002. They first performed their acoustic/folk rock as stand-ins for a no-show band at the bar where Luke worked. Their impromptu performance was a success, and they called themselves the John Hanley Band after one of the founding members. The group had a steady run of gigs at local Cleveland venues, but day jobs and distance made it difficult to stay together. Today, Luke Lindberg and the Hung Jury includes Luke, Ryan and a rotating group of local musicians.
Fun Fact: Band Member Luke Lindberg has been a 9-time volunteer with Legal Aid.
