Join Legal Aid for a
Learning Session
after the City Club Forum on February 23!
Legal Aid's executive director Colleen Cotter will be joined by Legal Aid housing attorney Hazel Remesch to explore local initiatives and services offered to those facing eviction, including services Legal Aid is now providing after the recent closure of the Cleveland Tenants Organization.
Representatives from Legal Aid will highlight further how civil legal counsel that stabilizes families living in poverty is increasingly needed, and explain efforts underway in partnership with the Sisters of Charity Foundation to create a right to counsel in housing cases.
This brief discussion will begin at 1:40 p.m. at the City Club, following the Friday Forum.
