Goods & Services

When buying a car, repairing a roof, purchasing furniture, signing up for a new cell phone, or purchasing any other goods or services, in most instances the buyer and seller make a contract (an oral or written agreement) for the terms of the sale (the cost of the item or service, when it will be delivered or completed, and by whom).  Sometimes seller’s take advantage of buyer’s by taking money but not providing a quality item or adequate service.  In some such instances, buyer’s may have a right to recover money damages against the seller.
