The Lorain County Bar Association, in collaboration with The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, invite you to attend a special Continuing Legal Education Seminar on August 17:
"Meeting the Unmet Legal Needs of the Poor"

Session begins at 12:45 p.m. with opening remarks.
Topics include:
- Hot Topics in Consumer Law, with Attorney Jack Malicki (Maliki Law Office, LLC)
- Advanced Issues in Domestic Violence Practice, with Attorney Alexandria Ruden (The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland)
- Expungements A to Z, with Attorney Nicole Dertouzos (Lorain County Reentry Coalition)
The CLE concludes at 4:15 p.m. with a reception and awards presentation hosted by The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland. (All LCBA members are welcome to attend the reception - no need to attend the CLE).

The CLE program is free if you sign a pledge to staff one Community Outreach Clinic held at Oberlin Community Services (OCS) for Legal Aid in 2018. The Community Clinics are held the second Tuesday of every month at OCS from 2-4:00 p.m. The attorneys staffing the clinic will provide Brief Advice, Referral and Pro Se assistance to those in attendance. If you do not fulfill your pledge, you will be billed for the normal cost of the seminar ($105.) If you would like to volunteer for the Community Outreach Clinic but cannot attend the seminar, call the LCBA to sign up!
