49th Cleveland International Film Festival - Desert Angel

Legal Aid is proud to be a community partner for the 49th Annual Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF49).

CIFF49 runs March 27 - April 5, 2025, at Playhouse Square, followed by CIFF Streams April 6-13, 2025.

Legal Aid is excited to be a community partner for the film, Desert Angel. In the film, a search-and-rescue pioneer, Rafael Larraenza, runs a DIY rescue operation for those who have gone missing crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.

Desert Angel will screen on Tuesday, April 1st at 5:10 PM in the Mimi Theatre at Playhouse Square, and will also be available during CIFF Streams.

Legal Aid is committed to promoting justice, and values of fairness and equity guide our work. We applaud CIFF for elevating films that highlight issues of justice and equity and are proud to be a community partner for this film.

• Ticket sales begin Friday, March 7th at 11:00 a.m. for members, and Friday, March 14th at 11:00 a.m. for the public.
