The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland has come a long way since 1905, when it pro bono represented 456 clients, mostly immigrants. Today the fifth-oldest legal society in the world serves 300,000 low-income residents from a variety of backgrounds in Cuyahoga, Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, and Lorain counties.
