Cleveland, OH -- Colleen Cotter, Legal Aid's executive director, states "The impact of poor housing conditions on children is well established. Stable housing reduces stress and increases educational success. When housing is stable, families spend a greater share of household income on nutritious food, health care and other essentials. Children stay in school and succeed when there are no disruptions associated with frequent or unwanted moves."
