Elyria, Ohio --  This summer, Legal Aid moved its Elyria Office from West Broad Street to West River Road North.   The new office was dedicated on September 27 with a ceremony honoring the law firm of Wickens, Herzer, Panza, Cook & Batista (WHP) - the law firm which provided funds to make the move possible.   Additionally, WHP provided support for the ongoing services of Legal Aid in Lorain County.

More than 50 people attended the September 27 event at the Elyria Office.   Click here for additional coverage in the Lorain Morning Journal.

The Elyria Chronicle also covered the dedication, which included a special presentation by Gayle Reeves, board chairperson of the Community Foundation of Lorain County.   Ms. Reeves presented Legal Aid with a grant check for $10,000.   The grant will be used for Legal Aid's education law practice in Lorain County.
