Cleveland, Ohio -- The Plain Dealer's Sheryl Harris reports the advisory committee reviewing the state's Consumer Sales Practices Act has started work. Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine appointed a committee of business and consumer representatives to consider whether the state's 40-year-old consumer law should be revamped.
Harold Williams, the managing attorney of The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland's consumer law practice, is a member of the committee. Reporter Harris refers to Mr. Williams as the "bible of consumer lawyers."
