August 15-19, CMHA is conducting its periodic lottery to identify the individuals/families who will be permitted to submit an application for its Housing Choice Voucher (aka Section 8 Voucher) Program. Entries for this lottery will be accepted online only. 10,000 individuals/families will be selected from the lottery.

Please note the following:

There is a dedicated Waiting List Lottery web site, applycuyahogacounty.tenmast.com, and Waiting List Lottery Call Center, 800-223-4969, separate from CMHA.

The Waiting List Lottery web site and Call Center will go live on August 1, 2011 at 8 a.m. EDT. They will not be available prior to that time. On August 1st, they will be available to provide information and to answer questions regarding the Lottery.

Online entries for the Waiting List Lottery can be submitted beginning Monday, August 15, 2011, at 8 a.m. EDT. Entries will be accepted around the clock through Friday, August 19, 2011, at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Entries will only be accepted online; no paper entries will be available.

Seniors and persons with disabilities can obtain assistance with submitting an entry online by calling the Waiting List Lottery Call Center at 800-223-4969. The call center will be open from 8 a.m. through 8 p.m. EDT.

Entry into the lottery and placement on the waiting list do not guarantee the future award of a voucher. Those who are placed on the waiting list will be determined eligible for the Voucher Program when their names reach the top of the waiting list.
