Lindsey Grdina selected for the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association Leadership Academy Class of 2024-2025

Lindsey Grdina, Senior Attorney in Legal Aid’s Family Law Practice Group, has been selected as a member of the 2024-2025 class of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) Leadership Academy.

The CMBA Leadership Academy is a 10-month program that gives participants access to legal professionals that will help them develop leadership skills and grow professionally.  Attendees will have access to coaching, community services through pro bono work, working on projects, networking opportunities, and more. Sessions are monthly with the first class of the 2024-2025 season beginning in September.  Participants are chosen based on their desire to further develop their leadership skills and to meet other professionals in the legal field as well as those who are devoted to the legal profession and civic engagement.

Lindsey has been with Legal Aid since January of this year. Prior to joining Legal Aid Lindsey was the owner and principal of Grdina Legal Services Ltd. where she focused on family law, criminal defense and landlord-tenant law.

Lindsey has served on the Attorney Panel for the Ohio Domestic Violence Network (ODVN) since 2016. She also provided legal counsel for marginalized and incarcerated survivors through Legal Clinics sponsored by ODVN. She previously served as Board of Trustees of The Lakewood Foundation and currently serves as Board Vice President. Lindsey has also served as co-chair and member of the Lakewood Citizens Advisory Committee.

Lindsey earned her J.D. from Cleveland State University School of Law and her bachelor's degree in political science from Cleveland State University.
