Legal Aid alumna appointed to Shaker Heights City Council

Legal Aid congratulates Legal Aid alumna Tenille N. Kaus on her appointment to Shaker Heights City Council.

Ms. Kaus was most recently the Legal Aid Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Advancement – helping to lead implementation of Legal Aid’s DEI plan and overseeing professional development growth for employees.  Ms. Kaus resigned her Legal Aid position upon appointment to the Shaker Heights City Council. 

Ms. Kaus graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh and earned her J.D. cum laude from the University of Akron School of Law.  She grew up on Cleveland’s East Side and now lives in the Shaker Heights Lomond neighborhood with her husband and daughter.
