Legal Aid is participating in this special week-long campaign that encourages consumers nationwide to take full advantage of their consumer rights and make better-informed decisions.
In addition to Legal Aid, other agencies and organizations that offer consumer advice and assistance are participating in local events during National Consumer Protection Week, March 3 - March 9, 2024.
For this special week, Legal Aid is proud to partner with the Cleveland Consumer Action Network (CCAN) to provide free information and resources to the public in the Cleveland, Ohio. CCAN is a group of federal, state, and local agencies, community organizations, and advocates that focus on important consumer issues and provide useful consumer resources and outreach opportunities.
Free events are planned throughout the week to serve the public, including this event hosted by Legal Aid:
Legal Advice Clinic - Saturday, March 9, 2024
Intake hour from 10:00 - 11:00 AM

Hosted by The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland. Attorneys will be available in-person to listen to consumer-related and other civil issues and will then offer brief advice or referrals to useful resources. In addition, Legal Aid will also share consumer protection information during this event:
"Life and the Law" on 95.9 FM, WOVU - Thursday, March 21, 10:00 AM
On the third Thursday of every month, Legal Aid joins Our Voices Today, the signature community affairs program on Burten, Bell, Carr Development, Inc. radio, for a conversation about a hot legal topic. The March episode will focus on consumer protection and debt. Tune in to WOVU 95.9 FM on Thursday, March 21 at 10:00 AM for the conversation.
