Attorney Training: Ohio Housing Law - Defenses, Second Causes, and Sealing Eviction Records CLE

This training will cover the statutes and resources relevant to defenses that can be established in an eviction case, working through second causes in evictions, and how to seal an eviction. The CLE will discuss ways a tenant might be able to defend their eviction action, what to expect in a second cause action, explain when a case is eligible for sealing, and provide information about volunteering with Legal Aid’s Volunteer Lawyers Program.

1.5 hours general CLE credit available

Presenters will include Legal Aid attorneys Sam Sheffield, Nicole Riggins and Bobbi Saltzman.
