Krystle S. Rivera, Esq., Staff Attorney with the Health & Opportunity group at The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, has been elected to the board of directors of the Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank.
Krystle joined Legal Aid in 2020, and previously served as an administrator in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and at Kent State University Upward Bound Programs. She obtained her law degree from Cleveland State University College of Law, and her master's degree in Higher Education and Student Personnel from Kent State University.
The Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank aims to foster literacy and a love of reading by distributing free books to children in need. Through community outreach and collaboration with a network of more than 1,500 community partners Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank is working to ensure all kids in Greater Cleveland have books to build their own home libraries.
