Housing Court event, legal clinics, & free community training in June
The beginning of summer is upon us, and Legal Aid is excited to be serving the community through neighborhood-based clinics, offering free legal advice about civil legal issues related to shelter, safety, consumer rights, education, work, and more.
Legal Aid is participating in Cleveland Housing Court’s Resource Clinic scheduled for the evening of June 2. Learn more about the event on our website.
In addition, we are excited to offer a virtual training for community changemakers on June 10 – Community, Lawyers, and Funding: Engaging for Social Change. Together with Cleveland VOTES and ThirdSpace Action Lab, we’ll share information about how organizers and advocates can work with lawyers and the legal system to achieve their goals. Walk-in applicants are offered several options to complete an intake to ensure access to services.
