We provided this update on local events, community updates, and other newsworthy items to our partners and public officials.

If you are on-staff at a local organization or government agency, please email us with a request to join the mailing list. Include your name, title, organization and email in the note. You will then begin receiving Legal Aid's bi-weekly updates.

Before we get into the details about our upcoming clinics, Legal Aid needs your vote in a “Give Back” promotional contest launched by Cleveland.com / The Plain Dealer. Simply visit this link, toggle down to “L” to find Legal Aid – and vote daily through May 4: https://cleveland.secondstreetapp.com/clevelandcom-Gives-Back/gallery/

We are so excited to be offering free legal help in neighborhood-based clinics again. In the coming weeks we are hosting several clinics on the west side of Cleveland, and brief advice clinics in Oberlin, Ashtabula, and Lorain. On May 7 our Naturalization Clinic will provide specialty advice for individuals needing help with applying for U.S. citizenship.

We’d love your help promoting Legal Aid’s advice clinics, so please feel free to share this information with your network.  Here is a sample post to use for social media, you can just copy/paste this and share on your organization’s page!
