Razing the Bar

Razing the Bar, the Law School band from Case Western Reserve University, has played the local Cleveland music scene for 20 years and has performed at an array of classic venues including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Music Box Supper Club, House of Blues, Happy Dog, Barking Spider, Jolley Scholar, and Cosmic Dave’s Rock Club. Michael Scharf offers up his backyard as a practice space, and the group rocks out to The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, and more. Razing the Bar also raises money for CWRU’s Public Interest Law Fellowship program, which places law students at organizations like Legal Aid.
