Legal Aid attorney named to Supreme Court of Ohio Advisory Committee

Legal Aid attorney Megan Sprecher was appointed this week to the Supreme Court of Ohio's Advisory Committee for Interpreter Services.

Ms. Sprecher is a staff attorney at Legal Aid and project leader for the Community Advocacy Program - Legal Aid's medical-legal partnership with MetroHealth Medical Center.

The Supreme Court of Ohio's Interpreter Services Program is designed to provide assistance to judges and Courts statewide on the issue of foreign language interpretation. The Court created the program upon joining the Consortium for State Court Interpreter Certification in June 2003. The program is designed to serve as a resource center on the issue for the judicial branch of Ohio government.
