New Board Leadership Takes Office

On January 1, 2011, new leaders took office at The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland:

Ilah Adkins, Esq.,  an attorney at Charter One, became president.   Ms. Adkins is the first former client of Legal Aid to hold the presidency.   Read more about her story in this Plain Dealer article.

Adrian Thompson, Esq., a partner at /Taft became Vice President.   Ann Bergen, Esq., an attorney in private practice, also became Vice President.   Both Mr. Thompson and Ms. Bergen were once staff attorneys at Legal Aid.

Rick Petrulis, Esq., an attorney at KeyBank became Secretary/Treasurer.   Mr. Petrulis is serving his second year as Secretary/Treasuer.

Richard Panza, Esq., a shareholder at Wickens Herzer Panza Cook & Batista, became President Emeritus.
