Attorney Melanie Shakarian, Legal Aid's Development and Communications Director, had an article published in the November-December 2012 volume of "Clearinghouse Review: Journal of Poverty Law and Policy." The article entitled "Communicating with Your Congressional Delegation," focused on how legal services programs can educate key stakeholders - including elected officials - about the work of Legal Aid in a community.
