Legal Aid attorney Megan Sprecher penned the cover story for the May/June issue of "Ohio Lawyer," the magazine of the Ohio Bar Association.

From the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to the first Spanish-language ballots in 2010, the judicial system and the legal profession continue to answer the challenge of providing meaningful access to the justice for all citizens.

Megan Sprecher, a graduate of the University of St. Thomas School of Law, leads the Community Advocacy Program, a medical-legal partnership with MetroHealth.   Sprecher also serves on the Supreme Court of Ohio's Advisory Committee for Interpreter Services, which provides assistance statewide on the issue of foreign language interpretation.
