Presenters include:

Dennis Dobos joined the staff of the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland in 2000 and has directed its Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic since December of 2013. He formerly was a member of the Consumer Law Practice Group and the Housing Law Practice Group where he developed an expertise in the areas of litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Dobos previously worked at Ashtabula County Legal Aid and in private practice. He lectured for many years at the Weatherhead School of Management of Case Western Reserve University and more recently at numerous local and regional conferences and trainings. Mr. Dobos, while working in the Consumer Law Practice Group, was the contributing author of the Arbitration chapter in Ohio Consumer Law (West Publishing). Mr. Dobos received his law degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and holds master’s degrees in educational administration and business administration.

Joseph Tomino has been the Brief Services Staff Attorney in the Intake and Volunteer Lawyers Program Practice Group since 2017. He started on the pro bono component of Legal Aid’s Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic this year. He also coordinates Legal Aid’s Debt-Collection Clinic for pro se defendants and develops private landlord-tenant cases for referral to volunteer attorneys. Mr. Tomino also provides outreach to veterans with civil legal needs through the Supportive Services for Veteran Families Legal Check-Up program and monthly brief advice clinics at the Cleveland Veterans Administration Community Resource and Referral Center. Mr. Tomino received his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
