CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Rocket Community Fund is partnering with The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland to create a Cleveland Eviction Defense Fund.
The announcement was made on Tuesday.
According to a news release, the money will go towards legal representation, advocacy and emergency rental assistance.
Officials said they hope this “combats housing instability and displacement.”
The Cleveland Eviction Defense Fund will also help The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland expand its referral partner network so residents can be connected to essential programs.
