Steve Dettelbach is a champion of the idea that the “first duty of society is justice.” Throughout his tenure as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio, Steve partnered with Legal Aid on numerous initiatives and did much to highlight civil legal services in both Northeast Ohio and across the United States. Throughout his career, his words and actions represent an unparalleled commitment to Legal Aid’s mission of providing access to justice for everyone.
Steve represents all the qualities Congressman Stokes possessed in acting on the belief that all people deserve respect and any barriers that prevent each individual from fully engaging in our society must be removed.
