CLEVELAND, Ohio "” The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland offers free legal advice from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Cleveland Public Library's Rice Branch, 11535 Shaker Blvd.
Legal Aid attorneys can help with foreclosures, landlord disputes, suspended driver's licenses, divorce, child support, public assistance, special education, employment, expungement and immigration. They can't help with criminal matters.
"The need for free legal assistance has increased considerably in the last six years," spokeswoman Melanie Shakarian said.
The nonprofit group partnered with 30 community agencies this year and held multiple outreach events. This is the last one of the year.
