Walking Into a Lead Safe Cleveland 2023

Over 25% of Cleveland children test positive for Lead Poisoning before the age of 5. The Lead Safe Cleveland Coalition is a public-private partnership formed to address the issue of lead poisoning in our community. Our approach is preventive, comprehensive, and long-term. The Coalition believes no child should ever be poisoned by lead.

Join Lead Safe Cleveland Coalition members, residents, property owners, city officials, community organizations, leaders, and others for this event. Together in solidarity, we can bring awareness and action to lead poisoning.

The event will start at the Western Reserve Fire Museum (located at 310 Carnegie Ave, Cleveland, OH 44115).

Registration and check in begins at 10:00 AM at the Western Reserve Fire Museum. The walk will begin at 11:00 AM. The walk will end at Fairview Park in Ohio City (located at 1675 W. 38th St. Cleveland, OH 44113). After the walk, there will be a rally, celebration, raffle, refreshments, and other fun activities.
