Volunteers Honored for Pro Bono Efforts

Last week, The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland presented awards to a select group of private attorneys and members of the judiciary for exceptional pro bono service to Legal Aid's clients.   The awards presentation was in honor of National Celebrate Pro Bono Week:

• Foreclosure Volunteers: Tony Aveni, Bob LaForce, Bob Farinacci Tom Sacerich, and Ken Piper
• Domestic Relations Volunteer: John Heutsche
• Expungement Project: Judge Joan Synenberg and attorney Abby Greiner
• License Suspension CLE & Clinics: Judge Deborah NiCastro and attorney Robert Walton
• Bankruptcy Projects: Julie Rabin and Ellen Keller
• Volunteer Lawyers Program Juvenile Court Child Support Clinic with CSEA, CSU Law School and Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court: Judge Kristin Sweeney and Mark Chimo from CSEA
• Elder Law Clinic: Diana Jancura
