What records can be sealed?
How do you do it?
Learn about Ohio’s record sealing law and apply for help with record sealing during a two part series on September 19 and October 27 - offered by The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland and the Elyria Public Library System!
Join us on October 27 to get help completing your application to seal a criminal record in Ohio (appointment and income eligibility required).
To get an appointment and apply, you can either:
- Join us on September 19 for an informative presentation about sealing a criminal record, or
- apply online at www.lasclev.org and click “Apply for Free Legal Help” then “Apply Online.” You can also call 1-888-817-3777. Tell the Legal Aid intake specialist you speak with that you want to attend the Elyria library event on October 27.
Legal Aid will schedule appointments for individuals that are eligible to seal their record(s) and as long as space is available.
