Probate Court 101: Estate Administration, Guardianships, and Court Procedures

Presented by former a former Probate Court Magistrate, this presentation seeks to increase volunteer lawyers’ knowledge and confidence in dealing with probate and estate issues. The program will provide an overview of estate administration, from full administration to relieving an estate from administration, as well as adult and minor guardianships. Through the use of example forms and the Probate Court’s own handbook, attendees will gain a broader understanding of Probate Court procedures and be better equipped to advise clients on probate matters.
