From Sheryl Harris, reporter at The Plain Dealer on cleveland.com:
The Cleveland Legal Aid Society is running a "Consumer Boot Camp" for attorneys interested in consumer law.
The course offers 3.75 continuing legal education credits – and they're free for attorneys willing to do pro-bono work for the society's low-income clients.
The boot camp runs from 1-5 p.m. Monday, at the Cleveland Public Library's Stokes Auditorium, 325 Superior Ave.
Attorneys will share insights on topics including foreclosure alternatives; bankruptcy and fraud; and new rules on CLE credits for pro bono work.
