CLE for Attorneys - Foreclosure Defense Updates

This training aimed at foreclosure volunteers will cover topics related to the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) including RESPA protections against dual tracking and RESPA error resolution procedure. In addition, post-Covid forbearance/loss mitigation options for borrowers will be discussed and tips for evaluating the option of bankruptcy instead of defending a foreclosure. A housing counselor will also present on resources that are available to homeowners, including the Save the Dream Ohio program.
