This Sept. 15 – 21, Global Cleveland is celebrating “Welcoming Week 2019” to showcase the importance of welcoming and supporting immigrants who chose to live and work in greater Cleveland.
Legal Aid is proud to partner with Global Cleveland on outreach to immigrants who may need legal assistance as they navigate the complexities of establishing a new life in the United States. In May, Global Cleveland helped us promote a brief advice clinic that focused specifically on issues of naturalization.
Earlier this month, we held another naturalization clinic, again with promotional assistance from Global Cleveland. To return the favor, Legal Aid has provided Global Cleveland with hundreds of pamphlets detailing our services that became part of the organization’s “naturalization packets,” which are distributed to immigrants who arrive in Cleveland.
We salute Global Cleveland’s efforts to increase diversity, prosperity, and cross-cultural exchanges in Cleveland by welcoming immigrants and promoting global consciousness throughout our region.
