For former students of ITT Tech, a for-profit college which unexpectedly announced on September 6, 2016 that it would close its doors, figuring out the next steps can be confusing and uncertain. In an effort to assist those students, Legal Aid has compiled resources and scheduled Brief Advice Clinics in order to help those students move forward by either continuing their education at another school through a transfer of academic credits or applying to discharge their federal loan debt. Former ITT Tech students can drop in at the following Brief Advice Clinics to speak to a Legal Aid attorney regarding their options:
- October 18, 2016 from 5:00-6:30 pm
West Side Catholic Center
3135 Lorain Avenue
Cleveland, Ohio 44113
- October 22, 2016 from 9:30-11:00 am
