Judge Dan Polster names Legal Aid as recipient of The Elaine R. “Boots” Fisher award

A special thank you to Judge Dan Polster for naming Legal Aid as the recipient of the Elaine R. "Boots" Fisher award grant.

The Elaine R. “Boots” Fisher Award was established as a memorial to honor the outstanding and generous contributions made by “Boots” Fisher to improve the quality of life and opportunities for all persons. The award is intended to stimulate, encourage, and recognize exemplary community, public, and charitable service by Federal Bar Association (FBA) members. This year’s honoree fully embodies the personal achievements that serve to provide inspiration and hope to others as well as a steadfast approach to far-reaching community, public, and charitable actions.

Hon. Dan A. Polster was selected for his outstanding contributions to the Ohio community; for well over 25 years, he has provided dedicated and honorable service to the FBA, both nationally and locally. Throughout all his time as an FBA member, Judge Polster has inspired countless members throughout the country to not only become a leader of his local chapter but also to join him in becoming an active voice in the national organization. He has considerably added to the association as a whole and demonstrated exceptional philanthropic leadership in his/her community outreach endeavors.
