Hello from Legal Aid!

As July winds down and we move into August, our Legal Aid calendar is full of advice clinics and events. If you see us tabling at a community resource fair or back-to-school event, please make sure to say hello!

We encourage you to circulate this information with your networks, and reach out if you have any questions.

Legal Aid is Hiring
Legal Aid is hiring for several roles, including a newly created Controller position with our finance team. Please visit the careers page on our website for a full list of openings and details about how to apply.

Jam for Justice 2023
Our annual summer fundraiser – Jam for Justice – is coming up on Wednesday, August 23 at The Beachland Ballroom & Tavern in Cleveland’s Waterloo Arts District! We welcome community partners and Legal Aid supporters to join us at this event! Visit lasclev.org/2023Jam to learn more!

Student Loan Information – Virtual Drop-in Sessions
The federal student loan payment pause will be ending soon. To help prepare for the return of repayment, Legal Aid will host virtual ‘drop-in’ sessions this summer to answer questions and provide information. Jump in any time during the hour to talk with one of our student loan experts, or join for the entire time to hear others’ questions. Sessions will be held on the first Thursday of August and September. Register today:
