Corinne A. Huntley, Esq. Staff Attorney in Legal Aid's Economic Justice Practice Group, was recently appointed to the board of the Northeast Ohio Worker Center (NEOWC).  NEOWC helps to protect workers against being exploited, underpaid, overworked, and isolated.

Corinne first learned about NEOWC in 2019 when a co-worker invited her to a meeting. She became more actively involved in 2020, and was appointed to the board in 2022.

During her two-year term as a board member, Corinne will focus on a number of areas including helping to establish legal clinics, writing bylaws, working with city council to protect workers, and sharing information about NEOWC. Corinne will use her experience in economic justice to help her address another area that she will be focusing on as board member - wage theft.

Corinne joined The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland in 2019. In her role in the Economic Justice Practice Group, she works on cases involving wage theft, unemployment, and discrimination.

“Workers are my passion,” said Corinne. “I am glad that Legal Aid allows me to help in so many aspects, especially giving dignity to workers.”

Corinne received her JD from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and her undergraduate degree from Notre Dame College. She is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
