United Way Announces Grants To Charities
The United Way will give financial support to more than twenty local charities during the next twelve months. The organizations provide social service programs throughout Ashtabula County. The United Way is able to offer the support as a result of our recent successful fundraising campaign.
More than fifty volunteers helped to determine the amount of money that each charity will receive. Funding was awarded after the volunteers reviewed agency budgets, the numbers of people served and community needs.
The United Way will make additional announcements concerning funding for Early Reading Programs and other grants when those decisions are made.
