Recognizing the challenges the State of Ohio faces in providing access to justice, The Ohio Supreme Court has announced in March new rules that will allow retired attorneys to engage in limited legal practice to provide pro bono service.
This is great news for late-career and retired attorneys interested in volunteering with the ACT 2 Program. Through the ACT 2 Program, Legal Aid provides late career or retired attorneys with a variety of opportunities for meaningful pro bono work.
