Receive home repair and rehabilitation assistance in the Lake County/Mentor area!

The Western Reserve Community Development Corp. (WRCDC) administers several housing rehab programs.  Contact WRCDC directly at 440-357-4400 to find out if you may be eligible for any of the following programs. Click here for a brochure. 

  • Lake County CDBG: General Program (e.g. septic repair and replacement, broken or inoperable windows, roof, plumbing, electrical, lead remediation); Mobility Assistance (e.g. ramps, bath to shower modifications, ADA toilets); Emergency (e.g. furnace, hot water tank, electrical)
  • Mentor Single Family Housing Rehab Program: WRCDC can offer repairs up to $10,000 that includes roofing, plumbing, furnace, hot water tank, ramps, and bath to shower modifications. Also includes Senior Drainage Assistance Program.
  • Lake County United Way: Provides assistance for small rehab/repair items, including fixes to mobile homes.
  • Ohio Development Services Agency: Program for assisting those 62 years of age and/or disabled. Eligible repair items include emergency and safety related projects.
