The Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) will temporarily open the Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list beginning Monday, June 24, 2019 at noon until Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 11:59 pm. All interested parties must complete an online pre-application at http://www.lmha.org/apply. 500 applicants will be randomly selected to be placed on the waiting list. It is projected to take 1-2 years to serve all the families placed on the waiting list.
If you do not have access to a computer, visit your local library or the LMHA Main Office at 1600 Kansas Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. Applicants are strongly encouraged to provide email addresses in addition to mailing addresses when completing online applications to assist LMHA in efficiently processing the waiting list.
The confirmation numbers of those selected will be displayed on LMHA's website at www.lmha.org and will be available on our 24/7 automated phone system (440.288.7402) within 30 days of the waiting list closing. Equal Housing Opportunity.
