Fundamentals of Ohio LLCs
This one-hour CLE is tailored for attorneys volunteering with The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland’s transactional law practice. It is a basic-level seminar that will help advisors give Legal Aid clients a solid foundation in planning, forming, and operating small for-profit businesses.
In this seminar, we will cover the following topics: the principle of the limited liability entity, the Ohio registration process, the importance of accounting and bookkeeping, the importance of recordkeeping, delineation of financial and management rights, and basic operating agreement issues for one-, two-, and multi-member LLCs.

- Todd K. Masuda has been a Cleveland business lawyer for about 15 years. He has experience planning, forming and working with Ohio limited liability companies in a broad range of industries. His solo law firm, Masuda Law, LLC, is an Ohio LLC.
