Legal Aid and #CLEReentryWeek2021

Legal Aid is proud to help promote and lead events to honor National Reentry Week 2021.  Use #CLEReentryWeek2021 on social media and join the conversation!

The week, observed April 26 - 30, 2021 includes numerous events to improve reentry outcomes and raise awareness of the importance of successful reentry.

Events hosted by Legal Aid include:

• a month-long April virtual expungement clinic, hosted in partnership with Cleveland Councilman Basheer Jones and sponsored by Zillow,
• a Twitter Chat on Housing, including partners from Eden, Inc., Fair Housing Center for Rights & Research, Towards Employment, the ACLU of Ohio, Maximum Supportive Housing, NEOCH, and the Cuyahoga County Office of Reentry;
• Conversation About Fair Housing, featuring Eric Sirota, Director of Housing Justice at the Shriver Center on Poverty Law.  Legal Aid is co-hosting this event with The Shriver Center, Enterprise Community Partners, and the Cuyahoga County Office of Reentry.
• Legal Aid at the Library: LIVE on Facebook – Record Sealing, Legal Aid attorneys and Cleveland Library staff will be in conversation with friends from the Cuyahoga County Office of Reentry, the Cuyahoga County Public Defender's Office, and Greater Cleveland Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
