The Office of Unemployment Compensation has announced that they are reactivating the reemployment activity requirements involving OhioMeansJobs.com.

These are the requirements that went into effect in April 2014, but the agency did not terminate UC benefits for noncompliance due to technical problems.

These requirements are reactivated for unemployment applications filed after January 4, 2015.

As a result, claimants can face cut off of unemployment benefits if they fail to upload their resume by the 8th week of unemployment or if they fail to complete core assessments or career profile on OhioMeansJobs.com by the deadlines for those activities.  For more information about the new work requirements, click here.
